Preparation |
| |
| This compound is quiet hard at ambient temp but once heated to around 200°C, becomes soft and attains butter like consistency. |

Application |
| |
| Thermostic is used in different industries like Dyes & Intermediate, Petro chemicals, Fertilizer, Refineries, Pigments etc. It is employed as an impermeable chemical resistant membrane on floor, channels manholes, pumps etc. which are constructed out of concrete and brick masonry. |

Chemical Resistance |
| |
| It is resistant to mild mineral acids. It is not resistant to organics and Oxidising acid. It is suitable for alkalies and salt solutions. It is not recommended for solvent. |

Packing |

| It is supplied as loose cakes of approximately 10 Kg and 20 Kg. |

Storage & Transportation |
| |
| It should not be exposed to direct sunlight and heat. It is preferable to keep it in the shade. During transport it must be protected from direct contact with water. |

Handling Precautions |
| |
| Thermostic must be handled carefully, Contact with skin should be avoided. Use of hand gloves and gum boots are recommended while using Thermostic. |
